About Aqua Spas & Pools of Gig Harbor
Aqua Spas & Pools was established in 1978 in Gig Harbor, Washington. The company was acquired by the current management team, Jan and Cindi Blechschmidt, in 1991. We provide service to Pierce, Kitsap, Mason, Thurston, and South King counties. Although we have a strong presence in Gig Harbor, we have loyal customers who come from Port Orchard, Silverdale, Bremerton, Tacoma, Puyallup and Bonney Lake. They drive right on by other pool and spa stores because they appreciate our qualified staff and friendly atmostphere.
Our philosophy is simple. We are educators. We teach our customers how to take care of their swimming pools and spas so that they can enjoy using them safely. We understand that the average swimming pool or spa owner (or prospective owner) has limited knowledge about hydraulics, equipment, plumbing, and chemistry. It's our job to take the mystery out of these things and make it simple.
We are the professionals. Our seasoned staff will take the time you need to help you understand what you are purchasing or what you already have. Whether you are shopping in our online store or coming into our brick and mortar facility, we are here for one purpose....to help ensure that your time in your backyard with your friends and family is safe, fun and trouble-free.
With that in mind, we only offer products that we have researched, tried and tested. There are a lot of products out there. Some are great and some are....well.....really bad. We help you cut through the sales hyperbole and get to the facts. There are pros and cons to every product. We could do what most companies do and give you only the positives just to sell you something. But we feel that you can't make a reasonable decision unless you know it from all sides.
Aqua Spas & Pools has been honored by AQUA Magazine as one of the top 100 pool and spa companies to do business with in the United States. This is an award that is given from within the industry by those who know the industry. In fact, we've been recognized as the best for so many years that Aqua Spas & Pools has been inducted into the AQUA Hall of Fame.
